Christmas is less than a month away and I am sure you have all started looking for Christmas gifts. But, if you really want your gifts to stand out, you should always accompany them with an handwritten card, with a personal message on it. This will surely make happy your beloved ones!
So, what it truly important right now is to start looking not only for gifts, but also for the most beautiful and original Christmas cards

Christmas cards: the different types

Christmas cards are a real tradition: the first commercial Christmas card was invented in 1846 by Sir Henry Cole, the chief organiser of the Great Exhibition
Billions and billions are sold every year (see some figures here) and of course, there are so many designs and types available to choose from.
The most common are of course printed cards, which usually feature Christmas related images and a written text or a blank space that we can fill by ourselves.
A much modern and customized option are photo cards, where we can add a picture (for example of our family), to make the card really unique. And forget to read this post, with all my advices for perfect pictures!
For those who prefer to "live digital", there are of course many different e-cards available, that you can easily send by email. The main advantage of this kind of cards is that the delivery is immediate and that you can also easily track them as they are opened.
And if you really want to do something good this Christmas, there are also charity Christmas cards that supports charity organizations.
