And here I am again wearing one of my favourite prints: houndstooth. This time I decided to combine two items I already showed you: a hat (seen in this post) e a pair of leggings (seen here) thus creating an optical game of black and white. Hope you like it!

You already know how much I love leggings: they are fashionable but above all super comfy. That's why I have quite an impressive collection (one day I'll make a post about it). The last pair I bought were this houndstooth print by Tezenis, only 6 euros at the sales (see the post here), that I decided to wear in a total black outfit. Then I added a spiked necklace I received from Maxnina and a stunning electric blue hat by Cristina e i suoi colori. What do you think of the result?

Sapete già quanto io ami i leggings: sono alla moda e soprattutto super comodi. E infatti ne ho una collezione davvero impressionante (un giorno farò un post a proposito)! L'ultimo paio che ho comprato è stato questo in stampa pied de poule di Tezenis, solo 6 euro ai saldi (trovati il post qui), che ho deciso di indossare in un outfit total black. Ho quindi aggiunto una collana ricevuta da Maxnina e uno stupendo cappello blue elettrico di Cristina e i suoi colori. Che pensate del risultato?

But regardless of the animal with which we identify it, this fabric, created by the intersection of vertical and horizontal threads, usually in black and white, is a universal symbol of class and elegance. Originally from Scotland, it was consecrated in the 50s by Christian Dior, but still very popular on todaty's runways  thanks to Ferragamo Marni, DKNY, Paul Smith, Iceberg and many other great designers. Yesterday I showed you an outfit with houndstooth accessories, today I want to give you a little inspiration with images I found on the web ... and please do not imitate Lady Gaga!

In Italia è chiamato “pied-de-poule”, ossia piede di gallina. In inglese, è detto “houndstooth”, letteralmente denti di segugio. Ma a prescindere dall’animale con cui vogliamo identificarlo, questo tessuto, nato dall’incrocio di filati verticali e orizzontanli, solitamente in bianco e nero, è un simbolo universale di classe ed eleganza. Originario della Scozia, viene consacrato negli anni'50 da Christian Dior, ma ancora oggi spopola sulle passerelle, da Ferragamo a Marni, passando per DKNY, Paul Smith, Iceberg e molti altri grandi stilisti.

Ieri vi ho mostrato un outfit con accessori pied-de-poule, oggi voglio darvi un po’ di ispirazione con foto trovate sul web… e mi raccomando non imitate Lady Gaga!

Il pied-de-poule è una fantasia che adoro: classica ed elegante, ma perfetta per chi con la moda ama divertirsi come me. Senza cadere negli eccessi di Lady Gaga, ricoperta in questo tessuto dalla testa ai piedi, ho deciso di limitarmi ai dettagli: i bottoni di un comodo abitino ed un simpatico cappello.
