Come sapete qualche mese fa ho deciso di partecipare al concorso indetto da Grazia.it per la ricerca di nuovi blogger (a proposito, continuate a votarmi!). Ed eccoci alla fase due, in cui e' stato richiesto di creare un outfit partendo da un oggetto presente sulla pagina shop di Grazia. Nel mio caso ho scelto un paio di ballerine a righe di Marc Jacobs, dal gusto un po' retro', per me un capo perfetto da indossare from day to night! Ed ecco infatti che le propongo in un look casual, pensato per una passeggiata fuori con le amiche o per andare a fare la spesa, per l'ufficio abbinate ad un blazer e a dei pantaloni eleganti e per una serata in discoteca, con un sexy abito e gioielli importanti. E voi come le indossereste?

And here we are, with phase number two: Grazia.it asked us to choose an item from the Grazia shop page and then create an outfit around it. I chose a pair of striped Marc Jacobs ballerinas with a vintage vibe, that I would absolutely wear from day to night! In fact I created three different outfits for them: a casual outfit, to go out with friends or go shopping, an office look paired with a blazer and elegant pants and a third one for a night out, starring a sexy dress and statement jewels. This weekend I had a wedding in Forte dei Marmi and this is the outfit I chose: flower dress, turquoise pumps and turquoise skull clutch (very McQueen). I got the shoes as a present and I bought all the rest to match them! Unfortunately, my official photographer Martina wasn't with me so I had to bother my boyfriend who isn't very fond of taking pictures and, sorry to say that, isn't very good either. However I managed to select some shots to write a post and wish the best start of week to all of you! 

Questo fine settimana ero invitata ad un matrimonio a Forte dei Marmi e questo è l'outfit che ho scelto: abitino a fiori, scarpe turchesi e pochette dello stesso colore con chiusura a teschio (molto McQueen). Le scarpe mi sono state regalate e ho comprato tutto il resto perchè non vedevo l'ora di metterle! Sfortunatamente la mia fotografa ufficiale Martina non era con me, ho quindi dovuto rompere le scatole al mio fidanzato il quale non solo non ama fare foto ma, mi dispice un pò dirlo, non è neanche tanto ferrato. Comunque, sono riuscita a selezionare qualche scatto per scrivere questo post e augurare a tutti un buon inizio di settimana!

E’ da una vita ormai che sogno di aprire un blog, più precisamente un fashion blog, ma per un motivo o per un altro ho sempre rimandato. Non per un ultimo un “blocco dello scrittore” che anche oggi mi impedisce di scrivere un post inaugurale degno di nota. E perché un blog senza nome? Lasciando perdere citazioni Shakespeariane (Cos'è un nome? Ciò che chiamiamo rosa, con qualsiasi altro nome avrebbe lo stesso profumo…) semplicemente perché dopo ore spese a pensare a quale potesse essere un nome accattivante, glamour, facile da ricordare etc. etc. mi sono resa conto che “senza nome” è quello che voglio che questo blog sia: un contenitore senza una definizione, un muro sui cui scrivere quello che mi passa per la testa, un vuoto da riempire, una entità che guadagnerà la propria identità con il tempo ( e allora forse anche un nome?)….

In ogni caso voglio ringraziare Maurizio che mi ha spinta in questa folle avventura e Martina, la mia fotografa ufficiale di cui presto potrete ammirare la bravura.

I’ve been dreaming about starting a fashion blog for ages, but I’ve always put the moment off, for one reason or another. Last but not least a writer’s block that is still preventing me from writing an interesting and remarkable inaugural post. And why a nameless blog? Let alone Shakespearian quotes (What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.") just because after spending many hours thinking of a catchy, glamorous, easy to remember… name, I understood that I want this blog to be NAMELESS: I want it to be an undefined box, a wall where to write whatever comes to my mind, a void to fill, an entity that will gain its own identity with time (and then maybe a name as well?)…

However, I want to say thank you to Maurizio who pushed me towards this crazy adventure and Martina, my official photographer whose skills you’ll soon be able to admire.
